In my opinion you did the right thing by giving you baby up for adoption because abortion in your situation should the last resort because someone might want the baby that you are having like the couple that you found. I believe you did the best for your baby by giving him to a family that is ready for a baby and has been preparing for so long. This also shows you that it is always better to have protection because you had to mature and grow up quicker than others of your age.It was a major component to have the opinion of abortion available to you because many women before you didn’t have the option of abortion and would have to resort to more illegal and sketchy means to abort a baby. That was before the trial of Roe vs. Wade which was a lawsuit based on abortion and having the means to do a abortion safe and legally. Once this lawsuit was won all women were able to get a abortion legally and this option was introduced to all of the United States. Although i am personally against abortion i believe that you should be able to seek the help you need without having any struggles or obstacles in your way, i believe that you did the an amazing thing by giving your baby up for adoption.You weren’t old enough to handle the situation you were put in but i believe that you made the best decision.I believe that people should learn from your story that protection is a good thing to use if you plan to be sexually active and if you do turn out to be pregnant the best opinion is to give the baby up for adoption because taking that babies life is wrong and it should be given the chance to live.
